Report: Federal Agency and Democrats are Contemplating Prohibition on Gas Stoves

The CSPC commissioner mentioned that consumers who switch from a gas stove to an electric one could receive a rebate of up to $840 through the Inflation Reduction Act. Additionally, up to $500 was available to aid in covering the costs of converting from gas to electricity.
“We prioritize safety above all else. If we cannot meet that, all options are on the table,” Trumka concluded.
